    Boscov's Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade

    Until recently, the long-running turkey-day parade in Philadelphia was called the Boscov's Philadelphia Thanksgiving Parade. It is a staple in Philadelphia culture, featuring Disney characters and local marching bands. The celebration is also the city's first sign of the Christmas season and marks the arrival of Santa Claus in The City of Brotherly Love.

    Thanksgiving Parades in Michigan

    In late November, Michigan celebrates the beginning of the holiday season with numerous festivals and parades in cities throughout the state. Most of them are centered around Christmas, but only one major parade is held on Thanksgiving Day. Known as the America's Thanksgiving Parade, it is held in Detroit. It has been running since the 1920s and draws large crowds every year.
