Santa Clarita, California, is a community about 30 miles north of Los Angeles. The city features one of the area’s largest skateparks and is located close to some of Southern California’s best golf courses. For those seeking to stay at a Super 8, only one is in Santa Clarita. But other Super 8 locations are within 30 miles or less from Santa Clarita, all of which provide access to some of Southern California’s top attractions.

In Santa Clarita

Super 8 inside the Santa Clarita city limits sits where Soldedad Canyon Road and the Sierra Highway meet. All Super 8 hotels feature a free continental breakfast and free high speed Internet. Santa Clarita isn’t far from Pico Canyon and the Santa Clarita Woodlands Park. The hotel is also within driving distance of several local golf courses, including the TPC Valencia. Santa Clarita is also home to the Santa Clarita Skate Park. The park started as a 12,000 square foot facility that accommodated skateboarders. An updated 40,000 square foot facility accommodates skateboarders and BMX cyclists.

In Canoga Park

Canoga Park is about 19 miles southwest of Santa Clarita on the west side of North Hollywood. Canoga Park is a short drive away from the Simi Valley, which former California governor and U.S. president Ronald Reagan called home. Visitors to the Simi Valley can visit the Ronald Reagan Library. Unlike most Super 8 hotels, the Super 8 in Canoga Park does not accept pets. Not only is the Canoga Park location a short drive from Santa Clarita, but it is also within 30 minutes of Malibu Beach, Magic Mountain and Universal Studios. Also two major shopping malls are miles within walking distance of the hotel.

In North Hollywood

The North Hollywood Super 8 is on Laurel Canyon Boulevard, about 16 miles south of Santa Clarita. The location can be accessed from four state and interstate highways, including Interstate 5. North Hollywood is the home of the Bob Hope Airport, which is actually in Burbank and borders to the east of North Hollywood. Just south is West Hollywood, home of CBS Studio City, the Miracle Mile and the Wilshire Center. Also south of North Hollywood is Beverly Hills, one of the richest areas in the U.S. and home to a multitude of movie stars and celebrities.

In Hollywood and Los Angeles

Two Super 8 locations are in Hollywood and Los Angeles within a 30-mile radius of Santa Clarita. The Hollywood location is on North Western Avenue and can be access from Highway 101. The majority of the rooms offer a view of the Hollywood sign that overlooks the city. The Hollywood Walk of Fame and Mann’s Chinese Theater are also nearby. The Los Angeles location is on West Sunset Boulevard in downtown. This location is just 200 yards from Dodger Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and a short walk to the Los Angeles Convention Center and Chinatown.
