Sacramento Hotels Near the Capitol

by Joanne Thomas

The California State Capitol building, a near replica of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, is the centerpiece of a 40-acre park in the heart of Sacramento. While there are plenty of hotels within walking distance of the Capitol, a handful are found within a block or two, and a few hotels boast direct views of the building. They include large, high-end chain hotels, historic properties and smaller boutique establishments.
