Inns and Lodges

The Graceland Inn ( is an historic, restored Victorian mansion. The inn offers fine dining and elegant antique and reproduction Victorian-era room furnishings. The Cheat River Lodge ( has six private rooms, each with a king size bed and a large picture windows overlooking the Cheat River.

Cabin Rentals

A 1920s Pullman Palace car is available for couples that prefer old fashioned comfort and a cold lunch with alcoholic drinks.

Nature Walks

The Stewart Recreational Area has hiking and walking trails, and more than 25 spots for a quiet picnic in a natural setting. Bickle Knob Observation Tower in the Monongahela National Forest offers a panoramic view of the vast West Virginia mountains. Couples can take in the quiet of the woods, unimpeded views of the mountains and spend time alone in the forest.
