Many resorts in Newport offer amenities such as spas or seafood restaurants.

Castle Hill Inn and Resort

Located on the Atlantic Ocean, Castle Hill Inn and Resort started out as a vacation house in the late 19th century. The resort features a Victorian style, with buildings such as the former mansion, harbor houses and a chalet. On-site nature trails lead to the Castle Hill Lighthouse. Upon request, hotel staff provides pretzels and beer, fruit and spring water, cheese platters, bottles of wine and biscotti, cookies and milk or meat and cheese platters. Everyday, the hotel hosts an afternoon tea. Packages to the hotel include champagne and truffles, breakfast at the resort’s restaurant, passes to see the Newport Mansion or holiday dinners. Every Sunday, the hotel hosts brunches with live jazz musicians. Inside guest rooms, hotel staff members provide massages, facials and nail treatments. Guest rooms at the Victorian-style inn come with mahogany armchairs, oversized bathtubs, parlor areas or fireplaces. Beach houses and cottages and harbor houses feature amenities such as Victorian-era antiques, French doors that lead to deck or porch areas, ocean designs, cast-iron soaking tubs, cathedral-style ceilings or bamboo floors.
