How to Remap a USB in PSP

    The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a gaming console made for mobile gaming. The PSP allows users to connect to a computer to transfer files, music or games to the unit. Remapping the PSP involves changing the drive letter assigned to the device.

    Step 1

    Connect your PSP to your computer via the USB cable that came with your console.

    Step 2

    Click the "Start" button and then click on the "Control Panel" icon.

    Step 3

    Click on the "System and Maintenance" icon and then click "Administrative Tools."

    Step 4

    Double-click on the "Computer Management" icon. Enter your administrator password into the field that appears.

    Step 5

    Click on the "Disk Management" icon and then right click on your PSP icon. Click the "Change Drive Letter and Paths" icon.

    Step 6

    Click on the "Change" icon and then click the "Assign the following drive letter."

    Step 7

    Type the letter you want to use. Click the "OK" button.
