From a museum to a movie theater, there are several options that are sure to please.

Mayborn Museum

The Mayborn Museum, located on the Baylor college campus (baylor.edu/mayborn), is a haven for children of all ages. The several story museum houses hands-on exhibits in categories such as science, your neighborhood, fossils and a couple of rooms filled with fish and animals. A huge working train set is located in the center of the museum, and the museum offers interesting traveling exhibits as well. Party rooms are available for two hours with a reservation and includes museum admission and party space for up to 35 people. Bring your own cake, ice cream and drinks along with paper goods.

Chuck E. Cheese's

Chuck E. Cheese's (chuckecheese.com) is a staple of most people's childhoods. The pizza-and-games format is bound to please young kids of all ages. There is plenty of room for a lot of guests, and a party reservation ensures you'll have plenty of room for your guests for two hours, food, drinks, tableware and tokens for the kids to play games. A party host that is in charge of your party will help you rein in the little guests when it's time for food or cake. Extra money can be paid for such offerings as bonus tickets, a balloon for the birthday child and special cups for the party guests.

Starplex Galaxy 16

The Starplex Galaxy Cinema (starplexcinemas.com) is a great way to combine your birthday with the latest flicks. For a large group of 20 guests, a private theater can be rented to watch the movie and throw the party. Everyone will get movie admission and a small popcorn snack meal. For 15 party guests, a party room can be rented to have the party in, with the guests watching the movie with other patrons. For either package, you are allowed to bring in your own birthday cake and paper goods or other decorations.

Skate World

Skate World (skateworldwaco.com) is a throwback to retro skating rinks, but updated for the newer generation. Lots of tables for party space, arcade games, laser tag and a huge roller rink will provide party fun for as many guests as you wish to invite. There are several different party package options available depending on if you want to provide your guests with skating and laser tag, if you want to give out game tokens, and what types of food you want available to the partygoers. You can even schedule a private party and rent the whole skating rink out, which may be ideal if you have a lot of people and want to do themed music and games for guests.

George's

George's (georgesrestaurant.com) is a long-standing Waco tradition. The restaurant has been a part of life for Wacoans since 1967 and is still a hotspot. The banquet hall can seat up to 180 people and can be rented out for a party or event, along with catering service, a cash or open bar, use of tables and chairs and a dance floor. You can bring your own decorations, but you must use George's catering unless you are just bringing a birthday cake. Enjoy some Southern style food such as chicken fried steak in a casual atmosphere.
