Places to Have a Birthday Party for a 2-Year-Old Girl in Maryland

Planning a party for a two-year-old child can be challenging. Eliminate some of the worry and stress by choosing a venue that provides food, cake and entertainment all in one package. There are numerous places around the state of Maryland where you can hold a two-year-old's party.

Walkersville Historic Railroad

The Walkersville Historic Railroad ( is located in Walkersville, Maryland. You can rent out a railroad car, the entire train or a little red caboose. The little caboose is recommended for children's parties. The caboose will hold about 22 people and a train car will hold 60. The crew decorates the caboose for you with balloons and streamers and a tablecloth for the table. You will need to supply the food, cups, plates, napkins and plastic wear. The ride is about an hour and 15 minutes long.


There are two Jump!Zone ( facilities in Maryland. One facility is located in Columbia and the other in Owings Mills. Jump!Zone offers an indoor play zone with seven different inflatables. They also have a playhouse that looks like a pirate ship. Any older kids in your party group will appreciate the rock wall and obstacle course. The two-year-old birthday child and other guests will love the Baby Dino Lake. Port Discovery

Port Discovery Children's Museum ( in Baltimore offers birthday party packages. Party packages are for ages two to 10. Port Discovery even offers a couple of themed parties, such as pirates or royalty. One permanent exhibit a two-year-old will likely enjoy is Tiny's Diner. This is a play area set up like a 1950s style diner. Children can role-play the part of cooks, waitresses, cashiers or customers.

Adventure Park USA

Located in New Market, Maryland, Adventure Park ( is an enjoyable birthday place for everyone in the family. It offers a party package called "Little Tykes" that includes a party room for one hour, a slice of pizza per guest and drinks while in the party room and unlimited rides and soft play structures in the Lil' Tykes area.
