Many young children -- especially girls -- find Pixie Hollow, the magical land where Tinkerbell and her fairy friends reside, fascinating and intriguing. When planning a Pixie Hollow-themed birthday party, incorporate the magical land and fairies into entertaining party games. Games will keep the guests involved in the party and give them a chance to earn fairy-themed prizes such as wands, glitter and party favors.

Freeze Games

Play music and tell the girls to act like fairies dancing around in Pixie Hollow. When the music stops, they must freeze. Any girl caught moving when the music is off is out of the game. Keep playing until only one girl remains who is the winner of the game. For another variation, play in the dark and have the girls wear glow-in-the-dark necklaces. You can see if anyone moves by watching the glowing jewelry.

Classic Games

Put a fairy twist on a couple of classic games. For example, instead of "Pin the Tail on the Donkey," play a game of "Pin the Fairy in Pixie Hollow." Ask the girls to sit in a circle and play a game of "Hot Fairy," instead of "Hot Potato." Give one girl a plush fairy doll and play music. They must pass the fairy around the circle until the music stops. When the music stops, the girl holding the fairy is out of the game. Eliminate the girl holding the fairy each time the music stops. The last girl remaining wins the game and the plush fairy.

Hunt Games

Hide several plastic fairies around the play area. Tell the party guests that the fairies are hiding in Pixie Hollow and they must find as many as they can. The player who finds the most fairies wins the game and a prize. For added fun, mark a star on a couple of the fairies. The girls who find these fairies also win an extra prize. Plastic toy fairies are available at many toy stores and online. You can also find other fairy-related items like wands, stars and small jars of body glitter.

Tag Games

Give each girl a jar of glitter. Select one girl to be "it." Tell the girls they are going to play a game of tag in Pixie Hollow. The "it" player must tag as many players as she can. When "it" tags a girl, she must freeze until another girl comes by to sprinkle glitter on her to unfreeze her. Allow each girl a chance to be "it" and award a small party favor to each girl for participation. For added fun, give each girl a set of fairy wings to wear while playing this game.
