Pet-Friendly Lodging in North Myrtle Beach

The quiet beachfront community of North Myrtle Beach sits directly north of the busy tourist city of Myrtle Beach. The area, largely made up of rental houses, has a few pet-friendly accommodations with convenient access to the beach as well as the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, Alligator Adventure and Alabama Theatre at Barefoot Landing.

Edge Water Inn

Edge Water Inn, located in the Windy Hill section of North Myrtle beach, features beach access just across the street. The family-owned motel offers pet-friendly accommodations within walking distance of Barefoot Landing where guests will find several attractions including Joe’s Crab Shack and the House of Blues. The value-priced hotel offers standard rooms and efficiency units with a kitchenette. A small outdoor pool located on-site has complimentary sun loungers and views of the beach.

La Quinta

La Quinta’s northern North Myrtle Beach location offers convenient access to Robbers Roost Golf Club, the Intracoastal Waterway and many beach shops on North Kings Highway. The modern hotel has spacious guest rooms and suites that include an in-room whirlpool tub. Guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast, outdoor swimming pool and pet-friendly rooms. High Tide Motel

High Tide Motel offers low cost lodging in central North Myrtle Beach. The area has many shopping opportunities in the Surfwood and North Strand Plaza Shopping Centers along with two close golf courses. Accommodations include basic rooms with beach decor and efficiencies with a small separate kitchen area. High Tide allows pets in all rooms for a small nightly fee. Area dining options include several fresh seafood restaurants including Duffy Street Seafood Shack and Fat Harold’s Beach Club.

By The Sea Motel

By The Sea Motel located in southern North Myrtle Beach offers economical beachfront lodging. Guest will find a wealth of amenities within walking distance, including the Crescent Beach Arcade, Giant Beach Store and Lost Treasure Miniature Golf. Rooms feature a spacious patio overlooking the ocean, lounge chair and pets are welcome for a small nightly fee. The property has an adult’s pool, kid’s pool and a lazy river adjacent to the large beach area. Molly Darcy’s On the Beach restaurant features patio dining on the beach within a block of the motel.
