Nestled between Fairfield and Milford in Fairfield County, Bridgeport is near the southeastern corner of Connecticut, and those traveling to the area have their pick of accommodations. As of 2010, there is only one pet-friendly hotel in Bridgeport, but several surrounding towns and cities provide pet-friendly accommodations within a few miles.

Holiday Inn Bridgeport

The Holiday Inn-Bridgeport accepts a maximum of two pets per room with a deposit of $50 per pet per stay, payable upon check-in. There also is a nightly $15 per pet charge. Guests are required to show proof of vaccinations upon request, and pets are allowed only in guest rooms and the lobby. The hotel offers complimentary Internet, an indoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center.

Best Western Black Rock Inn

The Best Western Black Rock Inn accepts dogs up to 15 lbs. with a $20 per pet per night fee. When making an online reservation, guests should write, “I am bringing my dog” in the comment box or tell the agent when making a phone reservation. The inn offers complimentary wireless Internet, a business center, a 24-hour health facility and a complimentary breakfast.

The Red Roof Inn Milford

The Red Roof Inn Milford accepts one pet per room at no charge. Guests must notify the front desk upon arrival and never leave a pet unattended in a room. While there is no deposit, guests are responsible for any damages to the room. The Red Roof Inn provides free parking and wireless Internet.

Residence Inn Milford

The Residence Inn Milford, a Marriott family hotel, accepts two pets per room, with a one-time fee of $112. When making an online reservation, guests should type “I’m bringing my dog” or tell the reservation agent when making a reservation by phone. The Residence Inn Milford offers a daily breakfast buffet, an outdoor seasonal pool and complimentary wireless Internet.
