Thousands of families travel to SeaWorld Orlando each year with their four-legged family members, and several of the hotels in the area are accommodating to pet requests. From basic accommodations to luxury hotels with gourmet pet room service, there is something for every furry guest in Orlando.

Holiday Inn Resort Orlando-The Castle

The Holiday Inn Orlando-The Castle allows one pet weighing up to 50 lbs. to stay with its owners at a fee of $75 per stay. The hotel has a medieval theme carried through its 216 colorful guest rooms, which are adorned with "regally inspired furnishings" such as headboards with goldenrod posts and spade-shaped chairs. Guests are welcome to the heated pool, fitness center and hot tub. The Castle Cafe serves daily breakfast, where kids 12 and under eat free. There also are two dining establishments, Cafe Tu Tu Tango and Vito's Chop House, as well as a cocktail lounge and poolside bar. The resort is three miles from SeaWorld.

Universal's Hard Rock Hotel

Universal's Hard Rock Hotel strives to make guests feel like VIP rock stars. The 650 guest rooms are made up with sleek, contemporary furniture in a subdued palette of browns and creams with green and blue accents. There is a 12,000-square-foot pool, spa, sauna and six dining establishments. On the last Thursday of each month, the resort hosts Velvet Sessions, a rock 'n roll cocktail party featuring live music by popular musicians. Camp Little Rock is the kids activity center for children ages 4 through 14. The hotel welcomes two dogs of any size at a rate of $25 per stay for both dogs. Universal's Hard Rock Hotel is just under five miles from SeaWorld.

Loews Royal Pacific Resort

The Loews Royal Pacific Resort uses elegant Asian and Pacific island touches in each of its 1,000 guest rooms to create a tropical ambiance. Islands Dining Room serves Pacific Rim cuisine, while Emeril's Tchoup Chop offers Asian-inspired cuisine "kicked up a notch." Bula's Bar and Grille features light fare and drinks poolside. The resort hosts weekly "dive in" movie events where guests can watch a film by the pool. Other events include luaus and dinners with theme park characters. The spa offers massages, nail treatments and facials. The Royal Pacific Resort charges a one-time fee of $25 for two pets per room, and pampers four-legged friends with specialty bedding, rawhide bones, cat scratching posts and pet walking and sitting services.

Universal's Loews Portofino Bay Hotel

Universal's Loews Portofino Bay Hotel transports guests to the Italian Riviera. The 750 guest rooms are decorated in classic European style, with sunny yellow walls, lace curtains and elegant bedding. The resort is seven miles from SeaWorld and houses three pools, a spa, eight restaurants and lounges. Four to five times a year, the resort hosts Harbor Nights, wine-tasting events set against a jazz soundtrack to evoke the ambiance of the Mediterranean. Pets of any size are allowed at a one-time fee of $25 total per stay. Pets can be part of the Very Important Pets (VIP) program, which includes a gourmet room service menu, special bedding and feeding dishes, and pet walking and sitting services.
