Pet Friendly Hotels in Rock Hill, South Carolina

Rock Hill, South Carolina, is located off Interstate 77, just inside the North Carolina-South Carolina border and about an hour south of Charlotte. The city has a network of parks, nature trails and recreation centers for residents and visitors alike. Travelers with pets will find several pet-friendly lodging options here, from one that allows pets for free to a number that charge a small fee.

Motel 6

The only hotel in Rock Hill that allows pets to stay for free is Motel 6, located just of I-77. The policy extends to both service animals and well-behaved pets. Pets that pose a safety or health risk are not allowed, according to hotel policy. Pets should be on a leash or under their owner’s control at all times, and rooms will not be serviced by housekeeping if pets are in the room and unattended. Owners must declare their pets when they check in. If an owner violates Motel 6’s guidelines for pets, the hotel reserves the right to ask the guest to leave without a refund. Motel 6 does not restrict dogs based on size or number.

Baymont Inn and Suites

The Baymont Inn and Suites, located on Anderson Road, allows up to two pets per room for a fee of $10 per pet each night. The Baymont does not restrict dogs by weight. Guests can take advantage of a free hot breakfast, free wireless Internet and complimentary delivery of USA Today.

Howard Johnson Rock Hill

The Howard Johnson Rock Hill charges fees for pets based on size. For pets under 15 lb., the charge is $5 per night per pet; for pets over 15 lb., it's $10 per night per pet. The Howard Johnson allows pets to stay for only two nights. The hotel offers a free daily continental breakfast, free copies of USA Today and a separate dining area. Dogs must be under their owner’s control at all times.

Super 8 Rock Hill

The Super 8 Rock Hill is off of U.S. 77 and is a good location for travelers with pets. Pets under 40 lb. are allowed; the fee is $10 per day per pet. Pets cannot be left unattended at any time. Guests can take advantage of free high-speed wireless Internet and close proximity to several major restaurants, such as Hooters and Outback Steakhouse.

Quality Inn & Suites

The Quality Inn & Suites, also just off of I-77, allows just one pet per night for a fee of $10 per night. Pets cannot be more than 40 lb. and must be declared at check-in. The Quality Inn does not allow unattended pets in rooms, and pets must be under their owner’s control at all times.

Comfort Suites Rock Hill

The Comfort Suites in Rock Hill is located on Old Springdale Road. The hotel offers access to both the Rock Hill Airport and the Baxter Hood Center, a multipurpose venue for local and regional events. This hotel allows guests to bring one pet 20 lb. or less for $25 per night. The pet must be crated and cannot be left unattended. Pets cannot be taken into public areas of the hotel.
