Party Places for Teenagers in New Hampshire

by Tom Tennant

When New Hampshire teens want to get together and socialize, they have a lot of options to choose from. The New England state provides plenty of places where teens can celebrate a friend's birthday, a milestone or just have fun. Beyond skate parks and pizza joints, this state offers a number of unique venues to throw a party.

Funway Park

Funway Park (melsfunwaypark.com) in Litchfield gives teens a ton to do, including go-kart racing, batting cages, laser games and miniature-golf. Throw a party and each guest can indulge in all the activities -- a go-kart ride, laser tag game, laser maze game, round of putt-putt, batting cage tokens and a bucket of golf balls for the driving range. The site offers a number of party options, and each comes with a party leader, two slices of pizza, ice cream, cake, unlimited drinks and balloons.

Vertical Dreams

Let your teens get their climb on at New Hampshire's tallest indoor climbing gym, Vertical Dreams (verticaldreams.com), located in Manchester. The gym offers 5,000 square feet of climbing terrain and more than 50 routes for climbers at any skill level. Brave climbers can test themselves inside Vertical Dreams' converted elevator shaft, which stretches four stories tall.

Funspot

Guinness World Records names Funspot (funspotnh.com) in Weirs Beach as home of the world's largest videogames arcade. The entertainment center provides a free party room with family-friendly entertainment, which isn't restricted to video games. Also onsite is a 20-lane ten pin and candlepin bowling center, cash bingo, outdoor and indoor miniature golf, a restaurant, a tavern and more. Better still, Funspot is open every day except Christmas day.

SkyVenture

Daredevil teens might like to get a party together at SkyVenture (skyventurenh.com) in Nashua. SkyVenture is New Hamphire's only indoor skydiving simulator for thrill seekers of all ages. Groups of 8 to 12 teenagers can experience the sensation of freefall without a parachute. No plane or previous experience necessary. The venue offers both a party room and a conference room, depending on your party's needs. Custom packages, catering and video packages are also available. The facility does require a signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian for anyone under the age of 18.
