People rent transportation for events ranging from bachelor and bachelorette parties to wedding day transportation to anniversary parties. While some people choose something smaller, such as a limousine, others want something bigger, like a party bus. A bus may seem like overkill for some, but for others, its just the beginning of the party.

Revamped Bus

Unlike the average bus, a party bus has been completely revamped inside. Instead of being lined with rows of seats, the party bus is equipped with seats around the edges, special lighting, televisions and sound systems. These buses allow your guests to party the entire time instead of saving it for the club, party or reception. Just because you have to switch locations doesn't mean you have to stop the party.

Party buses offer amenities for any type of event. Most party buses feature mood lighting and a sound system to play your favorite tunes while you ride. These buses also typically have a restroom on board. If this is all you need, a basic party bus is enough. Some buses have a dance floor, bar, fog machine or bubble-blowing machine. With all of the features available, the party on the bus just might be better than the party outside the bus.

If you're renting the party bus for your bachelor or bachelorette party, you might need a bigger bus, especially if you plan to have an open-door policy. However, if you rent a bus for your wedding transportation and you have a smaller wedding party, you can get away with a smaller party bus. Capacities range from 20 to 80 people.

Unlike a regular bus or transportation commonly rented for events, a party bus gives you freedom of movement while the bus travels from one place to another. If you need to use the restroom, by all means, get up and go. When the your favorite song comes in over the sound system, you don't have to sit there and tap your feet. Get out on the dance floor and show everyone what you've got. But watch out when the bus makes a turn or stops.
