If you have an early morning departure out of San Francisco International Airport but live some distance away, you don't need the added stress of driving, parking and racing to your gate. Park and fly motels let you catch some extra winks, deliver you by shuttle bus to your terminal and keep an eye on your car while you're gone.

South San Francisco

The Park/Stay/Go package offered by Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites San Francisco North includes a full breakfast buffet, evening cookies, microwaves and refrigerators, free Wi-Fi, 24/7 business center and an on-site fitness facility. Holiday Inn San Francisco Airport's Kids Stay Free program makes this a family-friendly choice. Kids also eat free in the on-site restaurant if accompanied by an adult guest. Free Wi-Fi, parking and newspapers round out the standard amenities. Four Points by Sheraton San Francisco Airport is a Starwood property where guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, a state-of-the-art fitness center, refrigerators and in-room movies. Cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request. You'll feel like you're in Cape Cod at The Inn at Oyster Point. Fireplaces, ocean views, refrigerators, free Wi-Fi and a complimentary breakfast are among the amenities. As a cautionary note, however, request covered parking; if left in the open, your vehicle will be an easy target for every seagull in San Francisco Bay.

San Bruno

Super 8 Motel-San Francisco Airport is a low-cost, no-frills venue two miles from SFO. In-room coffeemakers, Wi-Fi, photocopying services and a SuperStart breakfast are included in the room rate. Regency Inn San Bruno/San Francisco is a boutique hotel that offers free continental breakfast, local calls, refrigerators and microwaves, and Wi-Fi. It also is pet-friendly.

At the pet-friendly Red Roof Inn San Francisco Airport, you'll find a 24-hour restaurant, free nationwide long-distance, free Wi-Fi, refrigerators and microwaves, and a swimming pool. A full breakfast, Wi-Fi, fitness center and business center are among the amenities at Hampton Inn and Suites San Francisco-Burlingame-Airport South. This venue also is within short walking and driving distance of shops, restaurants, theaters and the subway to downtown San Francisco.

San Mateo

Kids stay free at Best Western Coyote Point San Francisco Airport. In-room refrigerators, microwaves and a free breakfast buffet translate to additional savings on family stays. This motel also has a fitness center, steam room and business center as well as meeting rooms. Rooms at Comfort Inn Airport South-SFO/San Mateo are equipped with refrigerators, microwaves and coffeemakers. In addition to free Wi-Fi and local calls, amenities include a complimentary breakfast, exercise room and on-site laundry facilities. Pets are welcome.
