The city of Peoria, Illinois, is home to a bevy of first-rate, brand-name motels, most of which serve as affordable lodging options for tourists and business travelers alike. Free motel amenities like continental breakfast and on-site parking are sometimes preferable to the higher-end perks and services afforded by more expensive area hotels for travelers on a budget. In addition, these motel properties provide convenient access to several local parks, golf courses, well-known restaurants and other attractions, as well as major roadways like I-74.

Baymont Inn & Suites Peoria

The Baymont Inn & Suites lies close to Bradley University, Northwoods Mall and Wildlife Prairie State Park. Property amenities include a seasonal outdoor heated swimming pool with sundeck, complimentary copies of USA Today in the lobby and free high-speed wireless Internet access in both public and private areas. Corporate travelers have access to a business center with computer workstation, while elevators make upper floors easily accessible for physically challenged guests. The SpringHill Suites is nestled in the heart of the city just minutes from the Peoria airport, while points of interest like the WeaverRidge Golf Course and Rockin' P Public Riding Ranch are just a short drive away. On-site amenities include an ATM, vending machines, free lobby coffee and newspapers, valet dry cleaning and a front desk with safety deposit boxes. Guests receive free passes to the nearby Landmark Recreation Center's fitness gym as well, which includes cardio equipment and free weights. A variety of restaurants are only a block or two from the property, such as Ruby Tuesday and Panera Bread, and local dinner delivery is available. Each of the 124 guest suites is nonsmoking and offers a choice of one king or two queen beds; flat-panel TVs and large work desks come standard. No pets are allowed.

Super 8 Peoria East

The Super 8 Peoria East sits close to points of interest like the Par-A-Dice Casino, Peoria Civic Center and SplashDown Waterpark. Guests can enjoy full access to a coin-operated laundry facility, free outdoor parking lot and complimentary breakfast bar each morning. Additionally, executive travelers can utilize designated meeting spaces and an unstaffed business center with PC and printer. Monical's Pizza is directly across the street, and Hardee’s is five blocks away. Guests can choose between smoking and nonsmoking accommodations, all outfitted with ultra-plush bedding, microwave, refrigerator and 24-inch cable TV with HBO. Irons and ironing boards are in select rooms. Pets must be approved prior to check-in by management and are allowed in smoking rooms only.
