Motels Near Window Rock, AZ

Window Rock derives its name from a 200-foot sandstone mountain with a massive hole that offers a window view of the sky. The small town on the New Mexico border is home to the administration center of the Navajo Nation, which is the second largest tribe in the United States. Window Rock offers limited accommodations with a better selection being available in nearby communities of St. Michaels and Gallup, N.M.

Quality Inn Window Rock

Quality Inn is a stucco hotel with a native Navajo themed design centrally located within Window Rock. It offers walking access to the Navajo Nation Museum, Navajo Nation Zoo and Tse Bonita Tribal Park. Modern guest rooms feature Navajo artwork and views of the surrounding sandstone mountains. Guests receive a full free breakfast and Dine Restaurant is located on-site and serves authentic Navajo cuisine.

Navajoland Inn & Suites

Navajoland Inn is three miles west of Window Rock on Highway 264 in the Navajo community of St. Michaels. This property was once a Days Inn but is now privately owned and offers economy guest rooms with views of the Window Rock Mountain and surrounding desert landscape. Standard accommodations include wireless Internet access and an indoor pool area with hot tub. Denny’s Restaurant is adjacent to the hotel. St. Michaels Historical Mission and Museum, which was built in 1896 is across the road from the Navajoland Inn and has displays of the area's rich Native American history.

Ramada Limited Gallup

Ramada Limited is just a block from I-40 and U.S. highway 491 on the west side of Gallup, New Mexico. Guests have easy highway access to Window Rock with the amenities of Gallup including the Municipal Airport, Fire Rock Casino and Historic Route 66 a half-mile to the south. The southwestern themed hotel includes authentic decor and standard guest rooms with mini-refrigerators and complimentary breakfast. Guests enjoy a free casino shuttle daily from 11a.m. to 1 a.m.

Quality Inn Gallup

Quality Inn of Gallup in New Mexico is 19 miles southwest of Window Rock and offers convenient access to Red Rock State Park just four miles to the east. Native American Jewelry and crafts can be found at several nearby stores including Desert Indian Traders and Shush Yaz Trading Company within a mile of the hotel. The Adobe Style hotel offers standard rooms, Suites with a fully equipped kitchen and indoor pool area with hot tub. Applebee’s Restaurant and Cracker Barrel are located adjacent to the Quality Inn.
