Motels Near SE Portland With Kitchenettes

by Ethan Shaw

Southeast Portland contains many of the city’s most distinctive and populous neighborhoods, from quiet Sellwood near the Willamette River’s Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge to hip and bustling Hawthorne, with its branch of Powell’s Books and the Baghdad Theater. A broader focus of the southeastern Portland metro area also encompasses communities like Oregon City, the oldest incorporated settlement west of the Rocky Mountains, and Milwaukie, with its annual Milwaukie Daze Parade and Festival in July. Several regional motels come with kitchenettes -- a few basic food appliances to preserve those food-cart leftovers and chill some of Portland’s famous microbrews.
