Rogersville is a small rural town in northwestern Tennessee that was settled by the grandparents of Davy Crockett in 1775. Visitors will find a few motels in town offering convenient access to the historic downtown area, which is home to the largest collection of Federal-style architecture buildings in the state.
Hale Springs Inn
Hale Springs Inn is a small historic inn, built in 1824, centrally located on Main Street in downtown Rogersville. It is within walking distance to a few other historic buildings, including the Masonic Lodge and post office. Nine guestrooms feature antique furnishings and private bathrooms, and a few rooms have a fireplace. Three presidential suites are available; these include a spacious floor plan and separate living area. McKinney’s Fine Dining, located on-site, serves upscale cuisine and has a seasonal patio. Guests of the inn enjoy complimentary breakfast.
Comfort Inn, a half-mile northwest of downtown, is located on a hillside that offers views of the historic downtown area. In Rogersville City Park, directly across the street from the hotel, guests will find a walking trail, a city pool and several sports fields. Guest accommodations include standard rooms and suites that have a kitchenette and separate sitting area. Guests receive a complimentary deluxe breakfast and have access to an indoor pool and hot tub. Comfort Inn is within walking distance of a few eateries, including El Paraiso Restaurant and Peking Chinese Restaurant.
Quality Inn is a mile west of downtown Rogersville on Highway 11. Crockett Spring Park is just over a mile from the hotel and is the site of the town's first settlement; a historic cemetery; and the first tavern, built in late 18th century. Quality Inn offers standard rooms with flat-screen TVs as well as suites with an in-room whirlpool tub. A seasonal outdoor pool features a patio seating area with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Highway 11 has a variety of restaurants and shops; Roma Pizza & Italian Restaurant and El Pueblo Mexican Restaurant are within one block.
Best Western Bulls Gap
Best Western is 13 miles south of Rogersville in Bulls Gap. It’s conveniently located a block from I-81 and within 15 miles of the birthplace of President Andrew Jackson and the Nathaniel Green Museum. The Best Western offers low-cost accommodations with Jacuzzi tubs in select rooms. Guests have access to a seasonal outdoor pool, and pet-friendly rooms are available for a small fee. Continental breakfast is provided to guests, and Tony’s Restaurant and McDonald's are within one block.
