Motels Near the Laurel Caverns in Pennsylvania

The area surrounding Laurel Caverns in Pennsylvania is rife with attractions. Included are Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, Kentucky Knob and the Ohiopyle State Park. Your trip may include just Laurel Caverns or another one of these attractions. US Route 40 is the main highway that connects most of the area attractions; most of the easily accessible, budget accommodations near Laurel Caverns sit along and near the famous highway in and around Uniontown.

Hopwood Motel of Uniontown

About six miles from Laurel Caverns in Uniontown, the Hopwood Motel offers basic amenities and is located on Route 40. The family-owned and operated motel offers weekly-rate discounts to gas industry works; call ahead for details. October is the busiest month for Hopwood, so make sure to call beforehand to check for vacancies.

Super 8 Motel

This Uniontown motel, built in 2002, offers guests free continental breakfast and has a meeting room. It uses the Wyndham Rewards Points system and has special member offers. Super 8 is located on Route 40 near the Highway 119 intersection and is less than 10 miles from Laurel Caverns. The parking lot has space to accommodate large vehicles, like trucks and buses. Super 8 is not pet-friendly.

National Trail Motel

The National Trail Motel offers fewer conveniences than most motels. None of the rooms has a phone, and only some of the rooms have small refrigerators or microwaves. The motel has been family-owned and operated for 30 years. It is only three miles from Nemacolin Woodland Resort, six miles from Ohiopyle State Park and 12 miles east of Laurel Caverns.

Fairfield Inn Uniontown

Less than eight miles away from Laurel Caverns, Fairfield Inn Uniontown, a Marriott chain hotel, is also located near the intersection of Highways 40 and 119. The hotel offers Nickelodeon-themed packages and is the closest hotel to the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa. The hotel has a pool, fitness room and meeting center.

Hampton Inn Uniontown

If you are traveling with your family, the Hampton Inn Uniontown has many family-centric amenities, like cribs, high chairs and a playpen; however, it does not allow furry family members. The hotel also has an indoor pool, whirlpool, exercise room and sauna. The Hampton Inn provides free hot breakfast, and alternative "On-the-Run" for take-out.

Uniontown Holiday Inn and Conference Center

Located directly on Route 40 West is the Uniontown Holiday Inn and Conference Center. The hotel is pet-friendly and has a children's recreation area. The on-site restaurant, Harrigan's Restaurant Lounge, serves American fare in a family-friendly setting. The hotel also offers pizza delivery from Dominic's Italian Pizzeria. Hotel packages are available for gamblers, families, golfers and geo-cachers.
