Located in the Tualatin Valley, just seven miles west of Portland, the city of Beaverton is a hub for business travelers to the area’s high-tech corridor known as the "Silicon Forest." Many of the motels in Beaverton are situated near major highways that connect area visitors to places such as nearby malls that offer tax-free shopping, the Japanese Gardens and Oregon Zoo.

Peppertree Inn

Peppertree Inn on Allen Boulevard is a two-star accommodation that caters primarily to business travelers. The property, which was renovated in February 2010, has Art Deco-inspired décor. While all the rooms at the Peppertree Inn are nonsmoking, the motel does offer designated smoking areas. Amenities at this pet-friendly establishment include a business center, tour and ticket assistance, extended parking privileges to guests who have checked out, guest laundry facilities and complimentary passes to the nearby YMCA Fitness Center.

Phoenix Inn Beaverton

Located near west Portland’s Oregon Zoo and Japanese Gardens, the Phoenix Inn is an all-suite establishment for business travelers and family vacationers alike. The décor at this motel is sleek and has a Pacific Northwest-inspired look. It incorporates wooden furnishings, olive green and tan colors, and has framed photographs of Northwest forests hanging on the walls. Accommodations have separate living and sleeping quarters, and range from suites with a king bed to those with an in-room spa. Amenities at the Phoenix Inn include in-room blackout drapes, limo or town car services, and complimentary fresh cookies every evening. The complimentary Manager’s Reception on Tuesday evenings include snacks and free wine tasting.

Motel 6

A classic, well-known accommodation in the motel industry, Beaverton’s Motel 6 places guests on Canyon Road, which takes travelers to the nearby cities of Hillsboro, Tigard and Portland. Rooms at this motel are decorated simply and contain mini-refrigerators. The Motel 6 is a pet-friendly establishment that is near public transportation, but also has free parking for personal vehicles and semi-trucks. Children who are guests at the Motel 6 stay free of charge.

Homestead Portland

Especially designed for longer stays, the Homestead Portland is a two-star motel. Accommodations include studios and suites. While the lobby is Victorian era-inspired, the guest rooms feature pine furnishings and small-sized, fully stocked kitchens, as well as separate dining and work areas. Amenities include barbecue grills, guest laundry facilities and business services. Additionally, the Homestead Portland allows one pet per guest room.
