Alabama certainly offers a wide assortment of motels, although some of the most trusted are located in cities with heavy tourism like Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile and Huntsville. A few of the motels in these cities are owned by nationally recognized, AAA-approved chains, which are known to offer a bevy of dependable services that especially appeal to tourists traveling on a budget. These select properties also are the most convenient to state parks, historic sites, museums, popular restaurants and major roads like I-20 and I-85.

Knights Inn Huntsville

The Wyndham-owned Knights Inn Huntsville is adjacent to the University of Alabama, Huntsville, campus and is within a few miles of government installations like NASA and Redstone Arsenal.
