The budget-friendly motel offers concierge service that includes shopping and running errands for guests.

Winters Freeway

Winters Freeway runs north-south on the western edge of the city. Motels near the Interstate 20 interchange, located in a less desirable neighborhood, offer basic rooms. Farther south on the freeway, Hilton Garden, Best Western, Courtyard and Fairfield Inn properties near the Mall of Abilene are higher end. MCM Elegante Suites provides a complimentary breakfast buffet and evening cocktails. Moderately priced suites have separate bedrooms, microwave ovens and mini-fridges. The motel’s indoor heated pool is open year round.

South of Town

Abilene Regional Medical Center and Kirby Lake are south of the city near Highway 83/84. Two motels provide easy access to both. The reasonably priced Antilley Inn offers a hospital discount to guests who are in Abilene for treatment or to visit patients at the medical center. If you’re more comfortable staying in a chain motel, the Comfort Inn offers beds with pillow-top mattresses, and rooms with microwave ovens and mini-fridges. The area lacks restaurants, but both motels offer continental breakfast.
