Scream down a fast track, climb high above a gangplank, grin and pose with Dora the Explorer, walk through a tunnel of sharks, fly a military jet or challenge someone to 18 holes of mini golf. Sound like a week's vacation? You can do it all at Minnesota's Mall of America. In addition to retail stores and major department stores, the mall offers dining, entertainment, nightlife and special events. Plan ahead to ensure ample time to experience everything you desire.
Nickelodeon Universe is the mall's 7-acre theme park, featuring thrill rides for the brave and junior rides for the young, a ropes course and a chance to meet some Nickelodeon characters like Dora, SpongeBob SquarePants or the Backyardigans. The Sea Life aquarium showcases more than 10,000 sea creatures and includes interactive activities like a quiz trail, touch pool and play area. The A.C.E.S. Flight Simulator attraction allows you to fly modern and historical jets like real military pilots. Visit the 2,500 square-foot Amazing Mirror Maze for a unique experience or try Moose Mountain Adventure Golf for 18 holes of miniature golf.
