One of the most useful gifts a mom-to-be can receive at a baby shower is diapers, which can be presented in several creative ways. The diaper cake is probably the most common, but you can show off your artistic side by making a wreath from diapers, such as Pampers, instead. Decorate the wreath with lots of ribbon or add small baby toys and supplies to the wreath as additional gifts.

Items you will need

  • Thin foam wreath base
  • Ribbon
  • Small baby toys
  • Large bow
  • Pampers
Step 1

Unfold about 12 or 13 Pampers without undoing the diapers' side tapes.

Step 2

Place one diaper with the crease on the inside of the wreath base's center circle and the top of the diaper pointing out. Tie a ribbon tightly around the top of the diaper, close to the wreath base. Repeat Step 2 until you have completely covered the wreath in diapers. The wreath should resemble a sun shape.

Step 3

Tie assorted gifts, such as pacifiers, teething rings and small toys, to the diapers. Use different-colored ribbons, if desired.

Step 4

Tie a large fabric or tulle bow around the top or bottom of the wreath in the color and style of your choice.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make the wreath using diapers in different sizes so the new parents can continue using the diapers as the baby grows.
  • Make sure you tell the recipient of the diaper wreath that the diapers are not merely decorative and are meant to be removed from the wreath and used.
