If you are interested in wizardry or magical books and novels, make this creative endeavor and fantasy reading even more exciting by creating an enchanting scroll. Enchanting scrolls are paper scrolls that are useful in casting magical spells or in allowing you to focus your intentions in a more direct manner. Create your own magical-looking scroll that can be used during a magical ritual or as a decoration, which requires only a few craft materials.

Items you will need

  • Craft paper
  • Pinking shears
  • Yard stick
  • Tacky glue
  • 2 bamboo chopsticks
  • Clear glitter
  • Glitter glue
Step 1

Cut a rectangle out of craft paper using pinking shears to measure 12 inches wide, 36 inches long. Pinking shears will make the edges of the enchanting scroll scalloped.

Step 2

Cover two bamboo chopsticks with tacky glue, and cover the chopsticks with clear glitter. Allow the glue to dry for 20 minutes, then shake off the excess glitter.

Step 3

Squeeze a line of tacky glue along the length of both bamboo chopsticks, and press one end of the rectangle onto each of the glue-covered chopsticks. Allow the glue to dry for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Write magical, enchanting words onto the surface of the paper rectangle using glitter glue. Allow the glitter glue to dry for 30 minutes.

Step 5

Roll up the scroll by winding the paper around the two glittery sticks until they meet in the center of the paper.

Tips & Warnings
