Luxury Hotels in Charlotte

Named after British Queen Charlotte Sophia, the city of Charlotte is North Carolina’s largest metropolitan area. The city sits between the Appalachian Mountains and the ocean, making it a popular pit stop for travelers looking to relax, do business or take in the history and culture. While many hotels in the Queen City, only a handful are considered luxury accommodations.

Omni Charlotte Hotel

Located in Charlotte’s financial district two and a half blocks away from the Charlotte Convention Center, the Omni Charlotte Hotel is a four-diamond accommodation that is also near many of the city’s entertainment and cultural hotspots. Connected to the hotel is the Overstreet Mall, which features boutique-type stores and restaurants. The Omni Hotel has a plantation-inspired look that combines bright, fresh flowers and indoor palm trees with stained wooden furniture. Guestrooms are simply decorated with different shades of brown to accent the white linens, as well as potted plants, artisan wooden furnishings and understated black and tan area rugs and carpets with floral prints. One of the Historic Hotels in America, the Dunhill Hotel in historic Uptown Charlotte was one of the nation’s first luxury hotels when it opened in 1929.
