Home to one of the nation's busiest international airports, Atlanta, Georgia, is a center of business and culture. Tourists flock to Atlanta to visit landmarks like Stone Mountain, the Atlanta Zoo and Coca-Cola headquarters, while business travelers visit the city's many corporate centers. For those who travel in the lap of luxury, Atlanta hosts a wide assortment of top-notch hotels designed with the upscale traveler in mind.

St. Regis Atlanta

Located in the affluent Atlanta suburb of Buckhead, the St. Regis Hotel Atlanta is owned by the Starwood chain of hotels. Rated five diamonds by AAA, the St. Regis has also received plaudits from Forbes Travel and Zagat Guides. The hotel has four room levels ranging from superior to suite level, with the Empire suite at the top. Standard amenities among the 151 guest rooms and 31 suites include a flat-screen television, plush bathrobes, high-quality luxury linens, twice-daily maid service, butler service and 24-hour room service. The hotel also has a small amount of rooms for lease or purchase in its St. Regis Residences program.

Four Seasons Atlanta

Located in the center of Atlanta's downtown, the Four Seasons accommodates guests in 244 rooms. This AAA five-diamond hotel offers six room types with four different varieties of suite, along with amenities including limousine service on request, fitness center, on-site secretarial and business services, and Internet access. The Four Seasons' Park 75 restaurant serves both dining and catering customers, while the Spa at Four Seasons Atlanta furnishes luxury spa treatments for both men and women. Omni Atlanta CNN Center

The Omni, located near Centennial Olympic Park, is well-placed for those who wish easy access to the heart of Atlanta. Under a half hour from the airport, this 1,000-room hotel has won several awards, including a four AAA diamond rating. Rooms are homey and classic in design, with large windows and warm wooden furnishings; suites come with panoramic views of the city, luxury amenities and deluxe design touches. The Omni furnishes guests with a full health club, business center and tanning deck; for media buffs, The Omni also offers guests tours of the CNN studios.

W Atlanta Midtown

Part of Starwood's chain of modern hotels, the W Atlanta Midtown is a more trendy luxury hotel that differs from its more traditional area luxury counterparts. The hotel hosts an outpost of Chef Jean-Georges' New York City Asian Fusion centerpiece, Spice Market, as well as the Whiskey Park nightclub. Rooms at the W have headings like Wonderful, Spectacular and Fantastic, and offers guests perks like Bliss Spa toiletries and a "munchie box" of snacks upon request. The W is also pet friendly; if you're going out, the W can furnish pet sitting and grooming, along with luxury pet accessories, for an additional fee.
