The small and scenic town of Trego, Wisconsin, is in the northwest area of the state. Log Cabin Resort & Campground Location Information
Trego's Log Cabin Resort & Campground is six miles from the neighboring town of Spooner, at the junction of Highway 53 and Highway 63. Trego is surrounded by neighboring cities of Spooner, Shell Lake, Minong and Hayward. As a point of reference, Trego is 113 miles from the Twin Cities, 397 miles from Chicago, 259 miles from Madison and 611 miles from Indianapolis.
The resort has seven log cabins available for rent. Two log cabins, made to fit six people, are sleeping cabins with lofts. The remaining five cabins, the Loon, Pine, River, Bear and Moose, are known as housekeeping cabins and come equipped with TVs, full kitchens, cooking utensils and beds with linens. Guests do have to provide their own towels. All seven cabins have a charcoal grill, fire pit and picnic table.
The Log Cabin Resort & Campground has more than 30 campsites that can house tents, motor homes and campers. Each campsite has 30 amps of electric service, water, a picnic table and fire pit. Flush toilets and hot showers are centrally located within the campground. The resort's recreation hall offers a pool table, juke box and video games. The camp store sells small toiletry items, ice, ice cream and treats.
Bay Park Resort and Campground
Trego's Bay Park Resort and Campground has five cabins to rent. Each cabin is only 25 feet from Trego Lake. All of the cabins are equipped with a full kitchen, deck, color TV, air conditioner and carpet. The cabins are taken care of by the resort's housekeeping staff. A deposit is required to rent a cabin. The cabins are available year-round.
Cabin Inn the Woods
As a home rental, the Cabin Inn the Woods provides the option for a private vacation. This three-bedroom cabin home, which sleeps eight people, has a full kitchen, a convertible bed and can house bird dogs for those who are avid hunters. The cabin is four miles north of the Namekagon River and near several small lakes. Trails for ATV riding and hiking are near the cabin.
