Accommodations in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, range from luxury hotels to cozy inns to resorts catering to rugged outdoor enthusiasts. Some lodging is family-owned and operated, while others are part of nationally renowned chains that bring a sense of dependability and familiarity. Each property features different amenities and services, while all provide convenient access to nearby national parks, recreational activities and major routes like Highway 89. In addition, nightly room rates range from discount to pricey, depending on the location and season.

The Wort Hotel

The historic landmark Wort Hotel is situated about a half block from the Jackson Town Square, with the Grand Tetons serving as a picturesque backdrop. The hotel concierge helps guests customize their own vacations, including whitewater rafting on Snake River, snowmobiling in Yellowstone and horseback riding over Teton wilderness trails. The Homewood Suites by Hilton, designed for extended stays, is nestled in the heart of the Jackson Hole Valley, providing easy access to attractions ranging from the Snow King Resort to the Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum. A recreational activity desk helps arrange ski trips or wilderness adventures, while on-site recreation includes a fitness center and swimming pool. Additionally, those traveling with kids take advantage of an outdoor playground and children's video rental. A free, hot breakfast is served each morning off the lobby, while an evening reception includes a complimentary light meal and beverages. All 41 one-bedroom suites feature a gas fireplace, oversized whirlpool tub, workstation with ergonomic desk chair, MP3 docking station and fully equipped kitchen with adjacent dining area. The 142-room Quality Inn & Suites 49'er is geared toward travelers who are operating on a budget, but still want convenient access to points of interest like Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the Aerial Tram. The AAA-rated three-diamond property includes an indoor and outdoor hot tub; sauna; state-of-the-art fitness facility; and free parking for cars, trucks and RVs. Business travelers utilize on-site banquet/meeting rooms, the front desk fax machine, and a high-speed wireless Internet connection in all public and private areas. Unlimited coffee and a complimentary continental breakfast are served daily, while lunch and dinner joints like the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and Snake River Brewery are close by. Both smoking and nonsmoking guest rooms are available, with amenities like fireplaces, whirlpool baths, microwaves, refrigerators and satellite television. Additionally, the hotel is pet-friendly and FEMA-approved for government and military travelers.

Cowboy Village Resort

The AAA-rated three-diamond Cowboy Village Resort is approximately six blocks from the Town Square, two miles from the National Elk Refuge and less than 10 minutes from the Jackson Hole Airport. In addition, the premises lie in close proximity to Grand Teton National Park, where out-of-towners enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, camping and mountain biking. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and offer a scenic woodland setting, while resort amenities include a guest laundry, fitness center, covered swimming pool, Jacuzzi and free winter shuttle to several nearby ski resorts. Corporate travelers make use of a conference room and unstaffed business center with computer workstation, while a free, light breakfast is served to all guests during winter months only. Guests select from 82 individual cabins, all of which are 100-percent smoke-free. Cabin amenities include a kitchenette, cable television, Wi-Fi access and a covered deck with BBQ grills.
