Georgetown is a small historic mining camp town located in a valley surrounded by the front range of the Rocky Mountains. A variety of lodging options offer convenient access to the historic downtown area, which is lined with buildings dating back to the Pike’s Peak gold rush era, including the Masonic Temple and Alpine Hose Firehouse.

Georgetown Mountain Inn

Georgetown Mountain Inn is centrally located downtown, within walking distance of the historic residential area where guests can view houses from the late 19th century, including the Hamill House Museum and the Bowman-White House. The Alpine-style inn has a large lobby with a stone fireplace where guest can gather and enjoy complimentary coffee and baked goods in the morning. Accommodations are 33 rooms of varying types including standard, suites, antique and log rooms, with a kitchenette available in select units. The inn has a year-round indoor heated swimming pool and an outdoor hot tub.

Hotel Chateau Chamonix

Hotel Chateau Chamonix is a 10-room luxury hotel on Clear Creek in downtown Georgetown. Georgetown Gateway Visitor Center is located across the street, and I-70 access is less than a block away. The hotel features modern lodge decor with handcrafted log furniture and local art. Accommodations include private balconies overlooking the creek, access to an outdoor hot tub and an upstairs deck with views of the city and the rugged mountain landscape. Guests will find a few local eateries within walking distance, including the Alpine Inn Restaurant and Quan Zhoa Restaurant within a block of the property.

Super 8 is a modern Western-style hotel located just off I-70. Its northwest location offers convenient access to the Hotel de Paris Museum and Georgetown Loop Railroad, where guests can experience a 19th-century coal locomotive ride through the mountains. The hotel features meeting rooms and complimentary breakfast area with log paneling and wood beam ceilings, along with an indoor hot tub. Accommodations include standard rooms with log beam ceilings and wireless Internet access. Mountainbuzz Cafe & Pizzeria and the Euro Grill are eateries within a half mile.

Rose Street Bed and Breakfast

Rose Street Bed and Breakfast is located on the south end of downtown Georgetown in the historic residential district. The house, built in 1882, features three one-of-a-kind guestrooms with antique furnishings, fireplace and in-room jetted tub. The property offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, a covered front porch and a library and common area for guest use. The downtown shopping district, a short walk three blocks north of the Inn, has many specialty shops including the Grizzly Creek Gallery, Buckskin Trading Company and the Georgetown Rock Shop.
