Lodging Close to the Martinsville Speedway in Virginia

Martinsville Speedway is a half-mile oval racetrack in south-central Virginia that annually holds two Sprint Cup and Nationwide Nascar series races. Visitors will find a few lodging choice within a short drive of the historic track, which was built in 1947 and is known for its flat corners and fast straightaways.

Days Inn

Days Inn is a half-mile northwest of Martinsville Speedway on Greensboro Road, which provides convenient access to highway 58 and downtown Martinsville. It offers standard guest rooms, complimentary breakfast and a large parking area that will accommodate large RVs. A seasonal outdoor pool is accessible and pet-friendly rooms are available. Guests will find a variety of dining options just over a mile north, including Captain Tom’s Seafood and Jerry’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant.

Super 8

Super 8 motel is 5 miles north of the speedway on the western edge of downtown Martinsville. The area offers many features, including Liberty Fair Mall, Lynnwood Golf Club and a community park, all within a mile. The motel is next to a large wooded area and offers quiet, low-cost accommodations with free continental breakfast, spacious floor plans and an exercise facility. Guest will find a Walmart Super Center and El Parral Mexican Restaurant less then two blocks north.

Hampton Inn

Hampton Inn is a 7-mile drive northwest of the speedway on U.S. 220. Guests have convenient access to the track and downtown Martinsville, which offers the Virginia Museum of Natural History, Patrick Henry Mall and the University of Virginia. Guests are greeted with a spacious lobby with complimentary breakfast area and business center. Accommodations include standard rooms and suites with an in-room whirlpool tub. Martinsville offers several local eateries convenient to the hotel, including the Texas Steakhouse & Saloon and Yamato Japanese Restaurant.

Jameson Inn

Jameson Inn is a stately three-story hotel located just a half-mile from downtown Martinsville. The country-inn style property is 6 miles north of the speedway and 10 miles from the Deer Island and Goose Point recreation areas. Guests will find modern guest rooms with complimentary breakfast, a fitness room and seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Ryan’s Steakhouse and the Sirloin House of Martinsville are less then a two-block walk from the hotel.
