Lincolnshire, Illinois, is a suburban town with shopping malls and restaurants. It’s located 30 miles north of the city of Chicago, which you can reach by train or car. Lincolnshire is about a half hour from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and approximately 45 minutes from Midway Airport. Lincolnshire, which is also less than 30 minutes from Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor, has a number of hotel options for visitors. Situated outside the city, almost all offer free parking.

Lincolnshire Marriott Resort

The Lincolnshire Marriott is a full-service resort with nearly 400 rooms and suites. The hotel has its own golf course and tennis center, picnic area, health and fitness club, indoor and outdoor pools, and trails for jogging and biking. The Marriott Lincolnshire also has its own theatre, which presents large productions Broadway style, such as “The Music Man” and “The Wizard of Oz.” Four restaurants and a Starbucks coffee shop are located on the premises. This is a smoke-free hotel.

Courtyard Chicago Lincolnshire

The Courtyard Chicago Lincolnshire offers rooms and suites on three floors. Rooms and suites include a small refrigerator, microwave oven and pull-out sofa bed. A fitness center with cardio machines and weights, an indoor pool and a whirlpool are available for guests. This hotel has a full restaurant on-site, open in the morning, but breakfast is not included in the regular room rate. The Courtyard Lincolnshire provides free shuttle service to the train station, which will take you to downtown Chicago.

The SpringHill Suites Chicago Lincolnshire has 161 suites with separate living areas that have sofa beds, work areas, refrigerators and microwaves. The SpringHill Suites offers guests a complimentary shuttle within a five-mile radius of the hotel. A continental breakfast and high-speed Internet are also provided for guests free of charge. This hotel has a fitness room and indoor pool with whirlpool. Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not allowed.

Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Lincolnshire

The Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Lincolnshire is a 100-percent non-smoking hotel. Rooms and suites are available, the largest of which have kitchens. The hotel offers a complimentary hot breakfast in the morning, with the beverage area remaining open all day. An on-site store sells food and toiletry items. The Hampton Inn & Suites has a laundry room, business center, fitness room and indoor pool. The hotel welcomes children with an outdoor playground, kid’s activities, cribs and high chairs.

Homewood Suites Lincolnshire

The Homewood Suites Lincolnshire offers two-room suites with the kitchen and living room area separate from the bedroom. This Northern Illinois hotel provides guests with a free hot breakfast everyday and a manager’s cocktail reception Monday through Thursday. Both smoking and non-smoking suites are available. Some of the suites have two bathrooms, and all have multiple televisions. A pool, fitness room and convenience store are located on the premises. The Staybridge Suites is located in the Lincolnshire Corporate Center with a complimentary shuttle that will take guests within a five-mile radius. This all-suite hotel offers accommodations with full kitchens, separate living rooms with sofa beds, and work areas with high-speed Internet and dual phone lines. All guests have access to a complimentary breakfast buffet and cocktail hour as well as free snacks and drinks every day.
