In Waterbury, Connecticut, roller skating fans can visit the Waterbury Skating Center on Harvester Road. It is the only indoor roller skating rink in Waterbury, but it does provide year-round skating opportunities.

General Skating

Waterbury Skating Center ( offers general skating for everyone to enjoy the floor. Scheduled times to skate change by season. The floor is maple wood and the facility hosts a large observation booth. Food is available at the concession stand and arcade games have their own area. Parking is free, but bring cash because the rink is a cash-only facility.

Group Parties

Birthday parties are organized by the rink with options including pizza, hot dogs, drinks, paper products, a general public skate session and party room. The rink also hosts private parties for groups who want to rent the rink outside the general public skate time. The only people who gain admittance are those who are with the private party group.

Special Events

Every season, Waterbury Skate Center announces special events, such as Adult Skate Night or Summer Skating. The rink's mascots also skate at specific times; these events are also advertised under the title, "Special Events." Gift certificates are available all year.

Skate Shop

The skate shop sells many different skate items including inline and traditional skates. The skates need to be pre-ordered. The attendants in the shop help customers choose skates and the skates are able to be exchanged if the sizes are incorrect.
