Players of all ages can enjoy year-round miniature golf and other games in Cincinnati and outlying areas. Indoor miniature golf makes it easy to play when it's raining, snowing or simply too cold to play outside. It's a fun activity for singles, couples and families, and it fits most budgets because games cost less than $10 per person. A number of companies offer arcade games, laser tag and other child-friendly activities in addition to mini golf . Many have snack bars available for all customers, and facilities to host birthday parties, business events or private celebrations.
Coney Island Park
If you're OK with outdoor miniature golf, Coney Island Park offers a wheelchair-accessible course. The amusement park is on Kellogg Avenue in Cincinnati. It also includes a huge swimming pool, EuroBungy Dome, replica of a mining town, a video arcade and amusement park rides. As of 2011, miniature golf costs $4 per game, or $2 if you also buy the Ride-All-Day bracelet.
Laser Adventure is in Florence, Kentucky, 11 miles south of Cincinnati. The indoor game facility offers laser tag, arcade games and Pharaohs Mini Golf. The Egyptian-themed miniature golf course uses black lights to create a unique environment with 3D effects. 2011 prices are $5 for children 6 or under and $6 for everyone else. Special packages are available to help you save money.
Lunar Mini Golf
Tucked in Cincinnati's Eastgate Mall, Lunar Mini Golf offers miniature golf and a laser maze. Prices in 2011 are $8 for adults and $6 for children 5 or younger for three rounds of golf. A special discount of $10 allows golfers to enjoy the laser maze and mini golf. Lunar Mini Golf arranges birthday parties for up to 10 people.
Monster Mini Golf
All the Monster Mini Golf franchises bring miniature golf indoors, allowing guests to enjoy the game without worrying about the weather. Indoor courses have a monster theme that may scare young children. The West Chester indoor golf course is 22 miles north of Cincinnati. Tickets cost $6.50 for children and $7.50 for adults as of 2011. Monster Mini Golf arranges birthday parties and corporate or private events. West Chester Monster Mini Golf is in the Walmart Plaza just off I-75.
Scallywag Tag West is on Glencrossing Way in Cincinnati. The facility offers laser tag, miniature golf, game arcades, bouncy castles and a snack bar. Miniature golf games cost $7 in 2011. Scallywag arranges private parties for birthdays and other special events. Ask about special deals Tuesday through Thursday. There is a second location on Ohio Pike, but Scallywag Tag East doesn't offer miniature golf.
