Plan a bachelorette party for a bride-to-be from Rhode Island. The tiny Ocean State, as it is known, is big on activities for the water-loving bridal party, with its miles of beaches. Options exist, of course, for non-beach parties, such as spa resorts and winery tours. Ask the bride for hints to help you plan the perfect night or weekend.

Beach Trip

Rhode Island has many beaches to choose from, including Atlantic Beach Park ( in Westerly, which features amusement parks, bumper boats, batting cages, gift shops, mini golf, an ocean view cocktail lounge and a 1915 carousel. Captain Roger Wheeler State Beach ( in Narragansett offers a picnic area and children's activities, making it an ideal spot for bachelorette party members with children. Easton's Beach ( in Newport features a skateboard park, free weekly summer concerts and a banquet hall for corporate and private events. Beach season is generally from Memorial Day through Labor Day, though some state park beaches may have lifeguards on duty from June or July through Labor Day only.
