Ideas for a 3 Year Old Birthday Party Places in Georgia

by Eric Ervin, Demand Media

Places to host a 3-year-old's birthday party in the southeastern state of Georgia are plentiful. The toddler-friendly venues provide them with hands-on activities that could not only cultivate memories, but aid in their mental and physical developments. No matter what the theme of your 3-year-old's birthday party in Georgia, you can find appropriate venues throughout the state.

    Artistic Parties

Your 3-year-old can get creative during a birthday party at a Georgia arts studio. The Purple Hippo Arts Studio (purplehippoartstudio.com) in Dunwoody has two party packages for 3-year-olds. You can also customize a party. Parties for up to 10 children last one and a half hours. It includes an art instructor, materials and invitations. You can purchase party extras, including goody bags and drinks, or bring in your beverages, birthday cake and snacks. You can also bring decorations. Poshin Kids (poshinkids.com), based in Atlanta, has five Georgia locations. Its Poshin Builder Party allows kids to paint a mini toolbox and build a cardboard fort or spaceship. Party guests will go home with their toolbox and a decorated canvas toolbelt to remember the party.

    Party Animals

Animals can be the life of the party at a Georgia party. Little River Farms (littleriverfarms.com) in Resaca has a pavilion and park available for rent for a two-hour minimum. You can add a visit to the facility's petting farm for an additional charge per child. Little River Farms is home to chickens, turkeys, peacocks, goats, miniature ponies and donkeys and other farm animals. The facility also has a corn maze. Pettit Creek Farms (pettitcreekfarms.com) in Catersville can host a party for up to 10 children. The party lasts two hours and include a petting zoo and pony rides. You'll have use of a gas grill and picnic tables. At Zoo Atlanta (zooatlanta.org), rent the birthday party pavilion and sign up for the party package, which includes admission tickets and food for 16. For an additional fee, add a clown, face painter or other entertainer.

    Let's Get Physical

A party at one of Georgia's indoor children's playgrounds safeguards you from being rained out. Jump City (jumpcity.us) in Evans has three birthday party package themes. Packages include admission for all guests, party room, time in a play area, party invitations, party supplies, two party attendants, unlimited soda, and a T-shirt for the birthday child; additional items can be added on. Parties at Tumble Tots in Norcross (funttots.com) include play time, face painting, arts and crafts and storytime. Birthday cake, lemonade, gift bags, balloons, invitations and paper party supplies are provided.

If You Build It, They Will Come

Your child can make a toy at her birthday party. Build-a-Bear (buildabear.com) has Georgia locations in Alpharetta, Atlanta, Augusta, Buford, Douglasville, Kennesaw, Macon and Savannah. The store can customize a birthday party for your 3-year-old. All parties include party host, a party photo, gift for the birthday child, party favors for all guests and printable invitations. Each guest gets to make a stuffed animal to take home. At the Center for Puppetry Arts (puppet.org) museum in Atlanta, you can add a Create-A-Puppet workshop to your 3-year-old's birthday party. The members-only parties include 10 tickets to a puppet show, priority seating for the show, private party room and throne or crown for the birthday child.
