Richland, along with Pasco and Kennewick, forms the Tri-Cities of southeastern Washington and sits where the Yakima and Columbia rivers meet. Richland only has 12 hotels to accommodate visitors, including extended stay lodgings. Several hotels overlook the Columbia River, where guests can enjoy boating. Hotel staff provides assistance to guests who want to visit the area's more than 160 wineries or play golf on 10 courses.

Clarion Hotel & Conference Center is conveniently located on Washington Way, about three miles from Fiesta Bowl & Casino. Its two-story 24,000-square-foot indoor atrium courtyard has a heated pool, hot tub, saunas and fitness center. The hotel also has an outdoor volleyball court. Hotel amenities include fresh-baked cookies upon registration, airport shuttle, complimentary hot breakfast, room service and laundry facilities. Guest rooms have cable television, Internet and refrigerators. Courtyard Richland Columbia Point sits on the banks of the Columbia River. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, as well as an exercise room. On-site amenities include local restaurant delivery, laundry facilities, evening room service and a lounge. All rooms have balconies overlooking the river, refrigerators and cable televisions.

Kitchen Units

Shilo Inn Suites Hotel sits on the Columbia River and is next to Columbia Point Golf Course. Each unit has kitchens with refrigerators, wet bars, cable television and Internet. The hotel provides a continental breakfast, laundry service, restaurant, airport shuttle, exercise facilities and an outdoor heated pool. Children under 12 stay for free, and pets are allowed. The Guest House at PNNL is on the Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory campus. It accommodates students and non-students, offering units with as many as eight rooms with full kitchens, private baths, Internet access and telephones. The guest house offers once-weekly housekeeping, laundry facilities, an exercise room, playground and 24-hour business center. Guests with children can reserve playpens and high chairs when making reservations.

Pet Friendly

The Red Lion Hotel Richland Hanford House overlooks the Columbia River and offers airport shuttle service. The hotel allows pets for a one-time fee. Pet owners must leash pets in public areas and keep them away from the pool, dining room, fitness center and banquet room. Pets left alone in the room must be in a kennel or crate. The hotel offers room service and the complimentary Roaring Start Breakfast Buffet. Guest rooms have cable television. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites – Richland, a AAA three-diamond hotel, is located at the Columbia Center. It accepts cats and dogs for a nightly fee and does not allow unattended pets in guest rooms. The hotel has a 24-hour tropical indoor pool and hot tub with a retractable roof. Guest rooms offer cable television with DVD players.
