Plitvice Lakes National Park is a place of outstanding natural beauty in Croatia that is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its geological and ecological value. Four hotels and two campsites are provided within the national park for overnight guests. All four hotels are modern and comfortable, but vary in size and facilities.

Hotel Jezero

Located less than 100 feet from Kozjak, the largest lake in Plitvice Lakes National Park, Hotel Jezero offers a prime, central location and beautiful surroundings. The 229-room hotel features tennis courts, a fitness room, an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, and both Finnish- and Turkish-style steam baths. Family-friendly facilities include a children's playroom and a four-lane bowling alley. Families are also accommodated with spacious suites and connecting rooms. All the guest rooms include satellite televisions and Internet access. Room rates include a daily breakfast in the on-site restaurant.

Hotel Plitvice

Hotel Plitvice offers 51 guest rooms, which are available in three categories, and one self-catering suite. The decor of the rooms is unfussy with bright citrus tones and contemporary pine furnishings. The light, airy lobby features a bar with comfy seating, a stone-clad fireplace and walls of floor-to-ceiling windows with woodland views. The hotel also has an a la carte restaurant and a small store selling souvenirs and sundries.

Hotel Bellevue

Hotel Bellevue, which is located next door to Hotel Plitvice, offers 70 guest rooms, many of which offer a private balcony. The rooms have warm decor, plush carpeting and dark wood furnishings. Single-, double- and triple-room configurations are available, all as part of a bed-and-breakfast package. Half- and full-board rates are also available, with breakfast served in the hotel and other meals enjoyed in any restaurant of your choice within Plitvice Lakes National Park. All guests have access to a large sitting area with a television, as well as a spacious, furnished outdoor terrace.

Hotel Grabovac

Situated about seven miles from the north entrance to Plitvice Lakes National Park, Hotel Grabovac offers an alternative location to the other three park hotels. The property was fully refurbished in 1999, and its 31 cozy, wood-paneled guest rooms feature brightly patterned bedding. Dining options on-site consist of an a la carte restaurant, a coffee shop and a cafeteria-style restaurant. A daily breakfast is included with the price of a room.
