Hotels in Orlando & Kissimmee

Orlando and Kissimmee are in central Florida, approximately 22 miles from one another. While Orlando is home to Universal Studios and Sea World, Kissimmee is closer in driving distance to the Walt Disney World theme parks. The hotels in both cities offer luxury and budget accommodations. Some hotels provide a free shuttle service into one or all three major theme parks.

Wyndham Hotels

The Wyndham Orlando Resort is surrounded by 42 acres in central Orlando. The hotel offers comfortable guest rooms with yellow hues, natural-wood furnishings and green accents. Room amenities include Internet access and Sony Playstations; designated family suites also include bunk beds and children-size tables. The hotel provides three swimming pools, a health club with steam rooms and five restaurants. As of November 2010, the hotel offers discounts for military personnel, teachers, Florida residents and guests who book two consecutive nights. The hotel is 12 miles from the Orlando Science Center on Princeton Street, and four miles from Sea World. The Wyndham Cypress Palms in Kissimmee is 15 miles from Universal Studios, and the hotel provides discounted tickets to the theme park through its concierge desk. One- or two-bedroom condos have washers and dryers, pull-out sofas in the living rooms and full-kitchens. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast on Mondays, provides two outdoor swimming pools and offers complimentary laundry facilities.

Hampton Inn Hotels

The Hampton Inn Universal Orlando has 120 rooms with refrigerators, microwave ovens and complimentary Internet access. The hotel prepares a complimentary breakfast and provides an outdoor swimming pool and a business center with Internet access. Universal Studios is only one mile from the hotel and Walt Disney World is 10 miles away. Three miles from Downtown Disney in Walt Disney World, the Hampton Inn and Suites in Kissimmee is within one mile of the outlet stores in Lake Buena Vista. The 125 rooms contain iPod docks, free Internet access and kitchenettes. The hotel includes a complimentary breakfast, a convenience store and an outdoor swimming pool. The Universal City Walk, home to the Hard Rock Cafe and NBA City, is 11 miles from the hotel.

Quality Inn Hotels

Quality Inn International in Orlando welcomes pets in guest rooms for a nightly fee. The six-story hotel is within minutes of Sea World and Universal Studios, both attractions are between two and three miles away. The 728 rooms are colored in yellow and gold tones and include Internet access and kitchenettes. Two outdoor pools and a separate children's pool are in the courtyard area of the hotel. The hotel prepares a breakfast and dinner buffet; children age 9 and under dine for free. The hotel provides a shuttle service to Universal, Sea World and Wet 'n Wild. The Quality Inn and Suites Eastgate offers free shuttle service to Walt Disney World, three miles away. The 176 guest rooms provide free Internet access. Kid-friendly suites have bunk beds, living rooms with pull-out sofas and master bedrooms for parents. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast and offers an outdoor swimming pool and game room.

Days Inn Hotels

Rooms in the two-story Days Inn Universal Maingate have king-sized beds, free Internet access, refrigerators and sitting areas with sleeper sofas. Take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool and free shuttle transportation to Universal Studios and Disney World. The hotel's on-site restaurant, Tabla, prepares American and Indian dishes. The hotel is two miles from Pirates Dinner Adventure where you watch pirates battle while feasting on chicken, pork and seafood. The Days Inn Kissimmee-Orlando offers kitchenettes, complimentary Internet access and free newspapers; non-smoking rooms are available. The hotel has an outdoor pool, prepares a complimentary continental breakfast and provides complimentary shuttle service to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. Walt Disney World is 10 miles from the premises and Universal Studios is 15 miles away. Local nearby attractions include the Cirque Du Soleil performance of La Nuba and the Medieval Times Dinner Theater, both less than seven miles from the hotel.
