Puerto Bueno Mountain is one of the last remaining dry limestone forests in Jamaica, according to the Northern Jamaica Conservation Association, which is seeking to protect the coastal habitat. While no lodging is available on the mountain, there is a handful of beachfront and hillside hotels nearby in Discovery Bay, and further afield throughout the Parish of St. Ann.
