Hotels Near Macy's in NYC

New York City's Macy's Herald Square store provides visitors with an upscale shopping experience at the center of the "Big Apple." Visitors will find numerous hotels within walking distance to the store. Keep in mind, due to its Midtown Manhattan location, you will have to pay a little extra for the comfort and convenience of staying near Macy's.

Hampton Inn New York/35th Street Empire State Building

The Hampton Inn New York/35th Street Empire State Building is just half a block from Macy's. The 146 guest rooms have a modest contemporary design and come with basic amenities including Internet access and flat-screen televisions. The on-site business center offers express mail, printing and photocopying services. The hotel's "shop and drop package" gives guests the convenience of a late check-out and includes a $25 gift certificate to Macy's. This is a Hilton HHonors Reward Category 6 hotel. Guests can save up to 15 percent by booking at least seven days in advance.

Hotel Metro

Guests of the Hotel Metro stay less than a block east of Macy's. The hotel's lobby has a classical 1920s style with portraits of film sirens gracing the walls. All 181 guest rooms were completely renovated in 2007, using earth tones to create a calming atmosphere. IPod docking stations and complimentary Wi-Fi provide in-room entertainment. The hotel serves a complimentary breakfast in the morning and the on-site restaurant serves gourmet dishes in a stylish surrounding. Guests can escape the noise of the city while relaxing in the hotel's library, complete with books and artificial fireplace.

New York's Hotel Pennsylvania

Located across the street from Penn Station, New York's Hotel Pennsylvania puts guests just one block from both Macy's and the Empire State Building. The hotel has 1,700 guest rooms and claims to have hosted more than 27 million guests since its opening in 1919. Guest rooms have a modest design and come with basic amenities. Special Penn 5000 rooms, with extra living and work space, are available; guests staying in these have access to the Penn 5000 Club lounge, where they can enjoy a free breakfast each morning, free coffee all day and use of public computers with Internet access. The hotel is pet friendly.

Radisson Martinique on Broadway

The Radisson Martinique on Broadway offers 533 guest rooms. This fully restored, 19-story, French Beaux Arts Landmark is located across from Herald Square Park, less than one block south of Macy's. Built back in 1898, the hotel's style modestly reflects the era of its construction; marble flooring, pillars and artwork greet guests when they enter the lobby. Guest rooms feature dark wood furnishings and amenities such as high-speed wireless Internet and complimentary coffee. Children under 17 stay for free and pet-friendly lodgings are available. Both the fitness center and business center stay open 24 hours a day.
