The village of Coalville, in the county of Leicestershire in the English Midlands grew as a mining town, although the industry no longer operates there. Visitors get a flavor of the town’s industrial heritage at the Snibston Discovery Museum, located at the former Snibston Colliery. The Willesley Park Golf Club’s 18-hole golf course, which welcomes visiting players, is a few minutes’ drive from the Royal.
Premier Inn Ashby De La Zouch
The Premier Inn Ashby de la Zouch is a five-minute drive from Ashby de la Zouch’s center and 10 minutes from Coalville. Set in a two-story building with free parking, the hotel is part of a nationwide U.K. chain offering simple, affordable lodging. The on-site restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
