Hotels Near City Walk, Orlando

CityWalk is the entertainment area inside Universal Studios Orlando with clubs and theaters featuring live acts, such as Blue Man Group or jazz musicians. Hotels near CityWalk also sit within a short drive of other attractions, such as SeaWorld Orlando, Walt Disney World and the Orlando Science Center. Most hotels near Universal Studios have shuttle buses or water taxis that transport guests to and from the theme park.

Hard Rock Hotel

The Hard Rock Hotel is part of the Universal Studios Orlando complex, and hotel guests have access to express lines at the theme park. The family-friendly resort offers a camp for children with movies, board games and craft activities. On Saturday nights, children can interact with cartoon characters in the hotel’s southern-style restaurant. The hotel also has an ice cream parlor with coffee drinks and frozen yogurt and a fine-dining seafood restaurant with lobster dishes. The pool area has a swimming beach, a pool with a water slide and volleyball courts. Some two-bedroom suites include small tables and rocking chairs designed for children. One type of suite comes with a piano, hot tub and living room with a sectional sofa.

Loews Royal Pacific Resort

Loews Royal Pacific Resort is also on the Universal Studios property. At the hotel, guests have a choice of an Indonesian restaurant with a children’s buffet, a fine-dining Polynesian restaurant, an ice cream shop and a sushi bar. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, the hotel hosts character dining nights. For adults and teens, the fitness center offers steam rooms and saunas. The resort has planned activities such as hula hoop tournaments, and it features croquet courts. The swimming area features a private beach and a shallow water section for youngsters. Pets are welcome, and on request the hotel provides beds, bones, water and food bowls, leashes and litter pans. Suites at the hotel feature children’s bedroom areas with Jurassic Park themes.

Doubletree Hotel at the Entrance to Universal Orlando

The Doubletree is within walking distance of CityWalk. The hotel provides a shuttle service that takes guests to Universal Studios and to other theme parks. Some suites feature parlor areas with multiple sofas and stocked wet bars. People have a choice of an on-site Starbucks, a Pizza Hut, a fine-dining seafood restaurant, a poolside bar with cocktails and burgers and a buffet restaurant with salads and cold sandwiches. The hotel’s packages include wine or a complimentary in-room breakfast for up to four people.

Hyatt Place Orlando/Universal

The Hyatt Place sits across from Universal Studios. The hotel offers a bakery with muffins and Starbucks coffee; a quick-grab market with salads and sandwiches; and a casual-dining restaurant. The hotel’s complimentary breakfast includes hot items such as eggs and French toast. For active guests, the hotel has a fitness center that stays open 24 hours a day. In guest rooms and suites, people can watch premium sports games. The hotel offers packages that include a credit at the hotel’s bakery or tickets to Universal Studios and Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
