Once considered a small local shopping center north of Seattle, the Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood has undergone extensive remodeling and is now considered an upscale destination for shoppers from the entire Greater Seattle area. Hotels in the vicinity cater to mall visitors, as well as to those attending events at the nearby Lynnwood Convention Center.

Alderwood Mall Parkway

Alderwood Mall Parkway runs beside the mall and extends to additional shopping centers in the vicinity. Hotels located directly on the parkway include the Hampton Inn and Suites, just off the intersection of I-5 and I-405, with a complimentary shuttle to both the mall and the convention center. The Residence Inn by Marriott is the hotel closest to the mall itself, and is near I-5 for easy access to other parts of the Greater Seattle area. Both provide standard hotel rooms as well as apartment-style suites with kitchenettes and extended stay rates.
