Denver International Airport lies 25 miles northeast of downtown in a rural area past the suburbs. For this reason, many visitors choose to stay at one of the many hotels located just outside of the airport. Every hotel in the area is part of a major chain, and what they lack in unique design, they make up for with traveler friendly services and amenities.

Ramada Inn and Suites Denver International Airport

The Ramada Inn and Suites puts guests seven miles from the terminal at Denver International Airport, a distance the hotel's free airport shuttle service covers in less than 10 minutes. Guest rooms have a fairly standard layout and design and come with basic amenities like complimentary high-speed Internet access. Mornings start with a free continental breakfast. The hotel offers "Park and Fly" packages that include long-term parking and accommodation; car rental services are available onsite. Guests receive a 15 percent discount when they book at least 14 days in advance.

Staybridge Suites Denver Airport Hotel

The Staybridge Suites offers studio, one- and two-bedroom extended stay suites within seven miles of the terminals. All accommodations have a home-away-from-home feel and feature separate living room and dining areas as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The 24-hour fitness and indoor pool help guests stay in shape during their travels. The hotel does not have a restaurant but offers a free breakfast each morning and an evening reception consisting of drinks and snacks three times a week. The hotel allows pets weighing 80 pounds or less; guests must pay a non-refundable service fee. A complimentary, 24-hour airport shuttle is available.

Embassy Suites Denver - International Airport

Guests of the Embassy Suites stay in an area populated with other chain hotels just 10 minutes from airport. The hotel lies just off of Pena Boulevard near the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge. The hotel's restaurant sits guests within the lobby's impressive atrium and offers sumptuous meals like Bacon Wrapped Meat Loaf and Buffalo Osso Bucco served with wines from around the world. Guest suites have a traditional layout and feature a second sitting room and come with basic amenities. The hotel's "Stay and Fly" package allows for either seven or 14 days of parking. All guests have use of the 24-hour airport shuttle.

Courtyard Denver Airport

Just over seven miles from Denver International Airport, the Courtyard provides a 24-hour shuttle with transportation to and from the airport. Guest rooms have a casual contemporary design with a bit more character than the typical airport hotel; deep reds offset the dark colored wood and avant-gard wallpaper. The fully opening windows allow the fresh air to flow and the free high-speed Internet keeps guests connected. The onsite bar and grill serves traditional American cuisine in a casual setting. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, indoor children's pool and a fitness center.
