Finding a hotel without a regular swimming pool on Miami Beach is a challenge. Conversely, hotels with an infinity edge pool are a rarity among the huge choice of Miami Beach accommodations. An infinity pool is simply one that, filled to the brim, creates the optical illusion of the water extending into the horizon. Miami Beach hotels that boast an infinity pool are not at the budget end of the market, and many of them occupy landmark Art Deco buildings, while most enjoy coveted oceanfront positions.

The National Hotel Miami Beach

Set in the Art Deco Historical District and enjoying direct beach access, the National Hotel Miami Beach is itself an Art Deco gem from the 1940s. The infinity pool, 205 feet long and fringed by palm trees, features poolside spa services and massage treatments. The hotel’s Tamara Restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine and includes a terrace for al fresco dining by the pool. The Blues Bar serves cocktails and features live music in the evenings. The Miami City Ballet and the Bass Museum of Art are both within 10 minutes’ walk of the National.

The Gansevoort Miami Beach Hotel

Overlooking the ocean, the Gansevoort Miami Beach is a resort hotel with regular rooms and suites, as well as condominium properties. The hotel has two infinity pools: one, for adults only, set on the 18th-floor rooftop, while the other at ground level overlooking the beach. The on-site gym features private trainers and Pilates and yoga classes, while the spa offers beauty and relaxation treatments. Dining options at the Gansevoort include the STK steakhouse; Philippe, which serves a fine-dining Asian fusion menu; and Café Bustelo, offering Cuban snacks and coffees.

Delano South Beach Hotel

With interiors created by French designer Philippe Starck and artworks by the likes of Salvador Dali, Antonio Gaudi and Man Ray, the Delano South Beach Hotel is one of Miami’s leading style icons. The hotel’s infinity pool features underwater music and is surrounded by mature palm trees. Guests can use the hotel’s fully equipped gym or enjoy a range of luxury spa treatments. The hotel’s signature restaurant, the Blue Door Fish, specializes in seafood dishes. Other on-site dining options include Plat Bleu, offering a French brasserie menu, and sushi-restaurant Blue Sea.

Hotel Victor South Beach

Housed in an 1937, Art Deco property with six floors and 88 rooms, the Hotel Victor South Beach is located toward the southern end of Miami Beach. Overlooked by guest rooms, the infinity pool features beach views and a poolside bar. The on-site spa has a Turkish bath and offers massages and tanning treatments. The hotel’s Bice Restaurant serves Mediterranean dishes and the Vue Terrace, overlooking Ocean Drive, offers light meals. A five-minute walk from the hotel, the Wolfsonian Design Museum includes collections of furniture, posters and ceramics from the period 1885 to 1945.
