Hotels in London Near the British Museum

by Ken Macdonald Google

The British Museum is set in central London in the Bloomsbury district, which is within easy walking distance of the shopping of Oxford Street, the restaurants of Covent Garden, and the bars and nightlife of Soho. The museum itself, founded in 1759, houses spectacular collections stretching across time from the beginnings of human history through to the contemporary world. A selection of hotels are within a few minutes’ walk of the museum, many of them housed in 18th- and 19th-century structures.
