Baton Rouge is the capital city of Louisiana and sits on the Mississippi River, approximately 80 miles northwest of New Orleans. The city offers more than 8,000 hotel rooms, most easily accessible to interstates 10 and 12. The hotel connects to the casino via a walkway and features a glass-enclosed atrium. Hotel amenities include complimentary airport shuttle, an outdoor pool, room service and concierge service. Guests are within walking distance to the Old State Capital. Guest rooms offer views of downtown or the river, and have free Internet access. Hilton Baton Rouge Capital Center, opened in 1927, is Baton Rouge’s only AAA Four Diamond hotel and only Historic Hotels of America member. The building features antique furniture and accents honoring Governor Huey P. Long, a one-time regular visitor. The third-floor pool overlooks the Mississippi River. Guest rooms have antique furniture, LCD flat-panel televisions and safes.
